Michael Bay considers killing off Megan Fox in Transformers 3

Hmmm... I have to say, I can see why he might. Megan Fox has made some incredibly interesting comments about her time on the Transformers set for the two installments we have already, likening Michael Bay to Hitler and other such things, but seriously? Killing her off? I don't think that's necessary. To kill her off and replace her with just some other chick would be stupid. So she likes to run her mouth and say outrageous things, BIG DEAL! I seem to remember another important part of the movie, aka the director in question Michael Bay, say that he was 'done' with the Transformers series. Maybe people say things sometimes that they don't really mean Mr. Bay. Sure, you put her on the map and all. But sometimes we like to open our traps just for attention (or more $$$ to make our next movie).

Why do I defend her? I have to say that yes, I am a Megan Fox fan. Not because she's an super talented actress, and not because she's hot as hell (even though, yes, she is). I really couldn't tell you why I'm a fan, I'm just drawn to her for some reason. I think it's because of the outrageous shit she says, and because she seems to not be all caught up in the Hollywood party life that so many young stars fall victim to. I do think she does an adequate job in the Transformers films, and I loved her in Jennifer's Body, so I guess I think she's an alright actress.

But I'm also a Transformers fan, and I just don't think the movies would be the same without her. I'm a girl, so I do kind of enjoy the romantic Sam/Michaela love story subplot. I don't want to see her die and then have some other hottie jump in and steal his heart. That wouldn't make sense, although this is Hollywood so anything can make sense, but still.

Why Jennifer's body rocks.

I honestly can't put this into my own words anymore because I have read so many, many blogs about this movie that anything that I have to say would just be a mish-mash of all of the things I've read and totally agree with........

So instead, I'm posting my favorite one via 'All Things Fangirl' -

As per usual my "movie review" is going to have some sort of cultural freak out in the middle of it, so buckle up, friends. This won't be long, but let’s jump into some Body talk.

The box office numbers are supporting the haters’ stance that Jennifer’s Body sucks. Now, everyone with the slightest shred of self awareness knows that if they think this without having seen it, they’re judging this movie based on two things: Juno, which is a different movie, and Megan Fox, who has been damned by some of the most exploitative non-porn roles to come down the cinematic pike in recent years, and has not yet backed up that persona with what the public feels is a requisite amount of talent or humility to make it palatable. If you hate patter, banter or stylized reality, yeah, you probably hate Diablo Cody. If you hate whorish things, like The Office’s Angela, you hate Megan Fox. So you, hater, are probably filled with loathing all the way to your creamy center at the mere concept of Jennifer’s Body. And I don’t blame you.

The thing is, Jennifer’s Body is neither Diablo Cody nor Megan Fox. It includes distillations of them that delightfully warp the realities of both, but the movie isn’t about them. It’s about the painfully familiar and horribly toxic Best Friend relationship, something every single woman or girl I have ever met knows intimately, the horror of which is give physical form on screen. This movie, similar to The Descent, I thought, is a horror movie for girls.

-----------------

GO SEE THIS MOVIE, and do it with an open mind. I had to drag my boyfriend to it after he read all the negative reviews and he was pleasantly surprised. I think I took a lot more out of it than he did because, despite it's gory epidermis it's actually a movie for the ladies. Only a girl could truly understand this movie, but guys shouldn't have to think too hard to get the message. The sad thing is that people are so often turned off by entertainment that actually requires thought to understand it. This was a great film and one I've already added to a short list of all time favorite movies. Go into it with no expectations, and you may come out loving it.

ALSO - I have to commend Diablo Cody for casting Megan Fox as Jennifer. I like Megan Fox and all. I do NOT think she's a seriously talented actress, but she was the perfect girl to play the part and I can't imagine anyone playing it better.

EXCUSE ME!

Who the hell decided to release Green Hornet and Tron on the same day!??! Seriously. Now I don't know which to see. I would see both, but the fact of the matter is that I don't have a single day that gives me enough free time to see two movies considering that I work every day of the week. WTF?!

Hate you Hollywood studios. HATE you.

I'm wondering...

Has Olivia Munn' role in Iron Man 2 ever been actually announced? I'm still dying to know who she's playing! If so, I guess I'm just out of the loop, but I don't think we know yet.

I wish May would hurry up and get here! The Hall of Armor at SDCC was one of my favorite things on the floor. Pretttttty cool.

Anyway.. stopping now.

NEW VANESSA HUDGENS PHOTOS! O.M.G.

Probably one of the funniest videos I've seen this year.....

Other things we should address...

Along with my super nerdy side, I also have a pretty girly side.

First, my absolute obsession with all things Hello Kitty. I love Hello Kitty. I think she's the most adorable thing ever. I buy almost anything I see that features Hello Kitty. At Comic Con, I combed almost every booth for anything Hello Kitty, including a Hello Kitty jello mold...... from Comic Con..... I'll let you marinate on that for a moment.......... Ok marinated? Good. I have about as much Hello Kitty stuff as Star Wars stuff, which makes for some interesting decor in my house as well as my body. Oh, you want to see my tattoo?? Sure..............

Yup.. Hello Kitty Stormtrooper. I'm proud of her! I couldn't decide if I wanted a Star Wars tattoo or a Hello Kitty tattoo so I got both. And I do refer to anything Hello Kitty as 'her/she'. For example, I sleep with a Hello Kitty blanket every night. If she's not in the bed, I immediately ask 'where is she?' and my boyfriend knows that we must look for the HK blanket before I can fall asleep. Sad, but true.

Second, I also love Katy Perry. I love her style, music, eveything. Yah. I won't bore you with those details, but I love her. AND I've kissed her. Yes, I've kissed Katy Perry smack on the lips! She actually kissed me, but I definitely kissed back!

Jennifer's Body.

I am so PUMPED for this movie.

A) Diablo Cody is one of my favorite screenwriters. I love her wit, sense of humor, and twistedness. Hmmm.... I don't think twistedness is a word. Moving on! I loved Juno, and I am a huge fan of her Showtime series, The United States of Tara, so I'm pretty sure I will enjoy this movie. She is probably one of my favorite females in the entertainment industry, coming second only to Katy Perry........ yah don't dwell on that one.

B) The obvious one. Megan Fox. She's hot. I might go lez for her.

C) Adam Brody! Hello! Boys won't understand this but I totally had a thing for Seth back in the day when the OC was cool. He was my dream boy! Fortunately, Adam Brody the real person is supposedly not that much different from that character so he is still one of my dream boys.

D) I just think it looks good lol.
